No, according to the World Health Organization, exposure to static magnets has not been proven to have harmful (or positive) effects on people.

The magnetic fasteners are part of our SewSafe™ construction, stitched into the clothes and hidden between layers of fabric. It would take serious tampering to remove them. We recommend periodically inspecting seams and fabric near magnetic fasteners. If tears, rips, or loose stitching are found, discontinue use of the product.
Have Magnetic Me clothes been safety tested?
Absolutely! Our products have been independently safety tested by a consumer products safety testing bureau.
Do Magnetic Me products contain lead?
No way! Our products have been thoroughly tested, and all of them meet lead safety standards.
What about pacemakers? I heard magnets can interfere with them.
Keep this garment away from pacemakers and other sensitive electronics. This product contains magnets that may interfere with the proper function of these devices.
Is it possible that Magnetic Me magnets could fall out and pose a safety threat to my child?

The magnets are sealed in a pouch, stitched into the product multiple times, and hidden between the layers of fabric, making them inaccessible to babies, toddlers, and children. It would take serious tampering to remove them. We recommend periodically inspecting seams and fabric near magnetic fasteners. Do Magnetic Me products follow the children’s sleepwear flammability standards?
The Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) mandates that children’s sleepwear sizes 9 months and up to size 14 must either be tight-fitting or treated with flame retardants. Magnetic Me follows the tight-fitting mandate to avoid using chemicals on our fabrics. This means that the fit on our larger sizes will be more snug than on smaller sizes. Do Magnetic Me products contain any phthalates?
Magnetic Me products do not contain any phthalates. All of our products have been thoroughly tested and meet phthalate safety standards.
Can Magnetic Me magnets interfere with pacemakers?
Magnetic Me magnets are not strong enough to affect pacemakers. In fact, Magnetic Me products are used in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Units across the country. However, if you have a pacemaker, please consult with your physician before use.
